Schloss Lackenbach Guesthouse ‘Oberjäger’

The former ‘Försterstöckl’ of Schloss Lackenbach was to be transformed into a guesthouse. POLKA took the inspiration for this interior project from the surrounding environment and the history of the building itself. Traces of different colours and structures of wall paints of the last decades were kept and restored. They were points of reference to develop an elegant and defined colour concept for the rooms. An eclectic mix of historical and contemporary elements create a cosy atmosphere, which is highlighted by restored furniture from the Esterhazy collection. Each of the six rooms is individually designed and themed around botanical specimen or wildlife found around the estate. The big communal salon with its open kitchen invites the guests to cook and enjoy together the tranquility and energy of this special place.

Tableware Collection | Vöslauer

The new Vöslauer Gastro Collection is focussing on materials. POLKA designed two new drinking glass shapes, which are produced in three different materials: glass, porcelain and plastic (for use in the wellness industry).

The “Material Edition” provides an unexpected haptical experience.

The velvet like outer surface of the porcelain and plastic version is comforting for hands an lips. These come in the three  colors: mint, lilac and light blue.

A new bottle opener which is also part of the Vöslauer Gastro Collection and made to open a huge amount of bottles effortlessly.
The opener is made from one soft metal loop that lies comfortable in the waiter’s hand.
Also part of the collection is the elegant bottle cooler.
Its material porcelain helps to keep the temperature of the water low and integrates well with other porcelain tableware.
Its soft shape refers to the Vöslauer drinking glass.
In addition the exclusive second bottle opener is an elegant turn on the Vöslauer logo.
The letter V is transformed into an attractive object and a new type of bottle opener at the same time.
According to the logo, the serifs of the font turn the letter into a practical tool.
